All-new Lotus entered 2+2 market for 2009, and promised upscale, tactile materials in interior and greater practicality. Excellent handling and grip, and, surprisingly, cruising capability. Initial reports indicated some issues with fit and finish. Barely usable rear seats. New chassis is stiff, and the car more refined than Elise. V6 from Toyota, available with different power outputs.
