From AutocadeLancia Ypsilon (Tipo 846). 2011 to date (prod. 500,000 to November 2019). 5-door saloon. F/F, 875 cm³ (I2 OHC), 1242 cm³ petrol, 1242 cm³ LPG (I4 OHC), 1248 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Rounder, cuter Ypsilon, now with five doors, on stretched Fiat 500 (2007–) platform. Softer and less fun to drive than 500, and not that premium, either, in terms of build quality, engines or interior design. Acceptable ride; longer wheelbase meant rear quite roomy, but Ypsilon hardly proved to be the premium small car Lancia planned. Badge-engineered for UK and Éire as Chrysler Ypsilon. Eventually only sold in Italy, and for many years thought to be the last Lancia car before Fiat retired the marque; Lancia appeared to have been given a stay of execution when Stellantis was formed.
Marque: Lancia | Model: Lancia Ypsilon | Predecessor: Lancia Ypsilon (843) | Successor: Lancia Ypsilon (L21)
