Lancia Delta
From AutocadeOriginally used for a model built between 1911 and 1912, the tipo 56, Delta was revived in 1980 for a small luxury hatchback based around the Fiat Ritmo. Lancia’s entry into rallying with the Delta Integrale sealed this model’s reputation as a sporting saloon, and its successor was evolutionary. Delta was revived once more in the 2000s for similar hatchback, this time based on the Fiat Bravo (198), though it is yet to establish itself in quite the same hallowed realm.
