Jaguar XF/Jaguar XFL (X251). 2015–24 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, F/A, 1999 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2993 cm³ diesel, 2995 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC). Stylistically, an evolution of the original XF, with a six-light design. Now on aluminium-intensive architecture, shaving 190 kg off the weight. Increase of 51 mm in wheelbase but shorter and lower than predecessor, with marked increase in interior room. More refined, and more aerodynamic, with C_d dropping from 0,29 to 0,26. Front suspension modelled on Jaguar F-type’s. Revised V6 diesel, with Ingenium four-cylinder diesel introduced. Interior featured 10·2 in touchscreen at launch, with navigation run from 60 Gbyte solid-state hard drive. LWB from 2016, made in China for China. Estate from 2017.
