Jaguar Mk X. 1961–6 (prod. 13,382 3·8, 5,137 4·2). 4-door saloon. F/R, 3781, 4235 cm³ (I6 DOHC). Big, heavy Jaguar, and the widest British car ever made at the time. Period illustrations needed little exaggeration with the Mk X’s length. Power steering, independent rear suspension, limited-slip differential. Original 3·8 to 1963, 4·2 thereafter. Eighteen 4·2 limousine models made.
