Geely Niuzai (吉利牛仔). 2024 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1499 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Beefy version of Icon on BMA modular architecture with off-road addenda, option of 18-inch tyres (replacing 17 in), and a lower starting price. Off-road look carried through to interior, though features such as 256-colour ambient lighting showed urban and youth appeal. Central 14·6 in screen and Flyme Auto standard, with decent OS. Level 2 driving assistance optional; standard only on high-end model. Full-speed adaptive cruise control. Seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission mated to engine with decent low-end torque. Front MacPherson struts with rear multi-link, bettering torsion beams usually found in its price range. Body roll minimal as a result of suspension, which proved to be good at absorbing the bumps.
