Geely Galaxy E8. 2024 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. R/R, F/R/A, 62, 75·6 kWh electric. Attractive fastback sedan on SEA platform, with C_d of 0·199. Impressive 45 in 8K display inside, lighting up the cabin, and proving intuitive to use. Over 5 m long, and a generous 2,925 mm wheelbase. Low roofline meant rear passengers were less comfortable, with a low rear cushion on the seats. Range up to 665 km (CLTC). Respectable 0–100 km/h time of 3·49 s. Well tuned to provide a balance between ride and handling, and very refined. Very much a driver’s car.
