Ford Falcon (XW). 1969–70 (prod. 105,785 incl. Futura and Fairmont). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 188, 221 in³ (I6 OHV), 302, 351 in³ (V8 OHV). Another facelift for Australian Falcon, identifiable in particular with square taillights. Redesigned interior. Futura returned as a separate series. GT (prod. 2,287) from May 1969 with 351 in³ V8 with 290 bhp and 385 lb ft; HO (Handling Option, prod. 662) series from June with larger carburettor, hydraulic valve lifters, revised camshaft, new roll bars, and stiffer shock absorbers, and V8 now developed 300 bhp.
