Dodge Magnum XE. 1978–9 (prod. 73,194). 2-door coupé. F/R, 318, 360, 400 in³ (V8 OHV). Another variation on the Chrysler Cordoba (1975–9). Originally a running-mate to the Charger SE in 1978, with sleeker looks, and considerably outsold the Charger in its first year. Unreliable as with most Chrysler products of the era, with poor rear accommodation. Lean-burn technology, which was supposedly for economy, made the engines run more poorly.
