Daimler Double Six. 1972–3 (prod. 534 SWB, 351 Vanden Plas LWB). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon. F/R, 5343 cm³ (V12 OHC). Very refined and thirsty luxury car, reviving Double Six name from late 1920s and 1930s. More luxurious than equivalent Jaguar XJ12. Rare due to late launch—Series II would be released with higher bumpers to comply with US legislation. LWB had extra 4½ in legroom and called Vanden Plas.
