F/F, 1560, 1997, 2179 cm³ diesel, 1598, 1749 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2720, 2992 cm³ diesel, 2946 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC). Second-generation C5, with a far better defined shape, losing the blandness of its predecessor. Estate dubbed Tourer. V6 Biturbo diesel at the top of range, developing 241 PS. Not the most agile, or even that roomy, but designed to have excellent ride, with Hydractive self-levelling suspension particularly effective. Generally economical and keenly priced in Europe.
