Chrysler New Yorker (1994–6)
From AutocadeChrysler New Yorker (LH207). 1994–6 (prod. 4,000 approx. for 1996 only). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3518 cm³ (V6 OHC). Striking, cab-forward design, based on stretched LH platform, but with more formal roofline, appealing to traditional buyers. New Yorker managed to look modern as well, though its suspension was tuned to be softer than Chrysler LHS (1994–7) and Eagle Vision. Plenty of options, reliable, good fuel economy and decent performance from V6. Buyers eventually favoured the more modern LHS, with the New Yorker name retired after the 1996 model year.
Marque: Chrysler | Model: Chrysler New Yorker | Predecessor: Chrysler New Yorker (1988–93) | Successor: Chrysler LHS (1994–7)
