Baojun gets into the EV game in a more focused fashion with a stylish, compact hatchback. Minimalist interior, with 15·6 in central screen, and plenty of soft-touch materials. Electric adjustment on driver’s and front passenger’s seats. Reasonable power delivery, with CLTC ranges of 360 and 460 km. Light steering if somewhat imprecise. MacPherson struts at front, rear torsion beam, leading to some body roll in more spirited driving. High-end driving assistance using binocular vision without using maps, good enough for adaptive cruise control and obstacle avoidance, claimed Wuling. Car also retained the last 100 m travelled in case one needed to reverse. Reasonably priced given the features. Wuling Cloud EV in Indonesia, MG Windsor in India, where it proved successful in the EV market.
