BMW X5 (E70). 2006–13 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/A, 2979, 2996 cm³ petrol, 2993 cm³ diesel (I6 DOHC), 4395, 4799 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Very strong follow-up to E53, with excellent dynamics and grip as expected from BMW. Exterior styled by Pierre Leclercq; interior by Olivier Heilmer. Very torquey and powerful engines, with range topped by twin-turbo M model developing 555 PS and 680 Nm. Practical as well, and suitable for lighter off-road tracks, though most would have been bought for on-road usage.
