Audi TT (Typ 8S/FV). 2014–23 (prod. 136,322 approx. to 2021). 3-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, F/A, 1798, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2480 cm³ (I5 DOHC). Third-generation TT, with Audi’s hexagonal grille and sleeker front, but keeping overall iconic look. Now on MQB platform, but with features unique to this model, including boot floor and suspension pick-up points due to the wider track. Length about the same but 37 mm more in wheelbase; 50 kg lighter than 8J: front-wheel-drive 2·0 TFSI at 1,230 kg, 10 kg lighter than a 1998 1·8 model. Huge reductions in environmental impact, in construction and emissions. Stiffer shell and lower centre of gravity, improving handling. Audi called time on the TT after 25 years.
