Alfa Romeo Spider (Tipo 939). 2006–10 (prod. 12,488). 2-door convertible. F/F, F/A, 1742, 2198 cm³ petrol, 1956 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2387 cm³ diesel (I5 DOHC), 3195 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Cabriolet version of Brera, suffering from weight (the basic Brera was no lightweight to begin with) and body rigidity issues, though very attractive, inside and out. A refined tourer, with good grip and balanced chassis, but not as sporting as the Alfa Romeo badge might have you think. Unlike Brera, designed jointly by Alfa Centro Stile and Pininfarina, and built by the latter.
