Zhonghua V5. 2011–17 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1498, 1586 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Compact crossover with choice of base 1·6 (118 PS, of Mitsubishi origin) or turbocharged 1·5 (150 PS) units. Reasonably economical, and awarded a five-star C-NCAP rating when new. Facelift in 2014. Fairly roomy inside, though a lot of plastics used. MacPherson struts up front, torsion beam at rear. Ride slightly unsettled.
