Zhonghua Coupé (中華酷寶/中华酷宝) (BS3). 2007–11 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé. F/F, 1793 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Also known as the Brilliance BS3 Coupé, and sometimes translated Kubao. Coupé never sold well in China, despite its handsome looks, as the market wasn’t ready for a domestically designed sports car, even if Chinese car aficionados liked it. Chassis had Porsche input. Interior less special, with fake, unconvincing carbonfibre touches, and not the best quality. FEV-developed turbo 1·8 produced 125 kW, with decent acceleration and quite good economy, but gearbox not ideal. GT from 2008.
