ZAZ 968. 1972–94 (prod. n/a). 2-door saloon. R/R, 1196 cm³ (V4 OHV). Boxier replacement for ZAZ 965, resembling NSU Prinz 4. Larger air intakes on 968 (built to 1980), better integrated into rear wings on 968M from 1979. Engines with varying power outputs, from 30 to 37 kW, but all with same capacity. Generally the most affordable car in Soviet Union, called Запоро́жец (Zaporozhets) by the locals.
