New brand founded by He Xiaopeng, its first vehicle a premium SUV, assembled under contract by Haima. Pod on roof housed 360-degree camera. Well made with good panel fit outside and nice interior materials. Originally 365 km from its 47·6 kWh battery; a 2020 Edition, shown July 2019, has CATL batteries, with more power and two ranges depending on model (401 or 520 km). The 2020 upgrades included improved brakes and autonomous driving, including lane centring and automatic lane change triggered by indicator use.
