Much-hyped electric sedan from well regarded cellphone brand, with a claimed C_d of 0,195, the lowest at the time of launch. Xiaomi originally announced its intention to build cars in 2021, giving first offering SU7 a reasonable gestation, and hundreds of prototypes covering 5·4 million kilometres. Adaptive dampers, adjustable rear wing, adaptive beams. High-tech features including voice recognition with XiaoAI large language model support (able to understand multiple commands in one sentence), two smart-driving programs including one-touch valet parking and smart parking. Flip-up 7·1 in instrumentation panel, with central multimedia screen at 16·1 in, complementing a total 56 in head-up display. Ranges on optimistic CLTC at 700 km for base model, 800 km for Max and 830 km for Pro. Pro could crack 100 km/h in 2·78 s, 5·28 s for base model. Manufactured for Xiaomi by Beijing at a new factory. Deliveries commenced 2024.
