2017 Wey VV7 S.jpg

Wey VV7. 2017 to date (prod. n/a). F/F, 1967 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Sharing an engine with the Haval H9, Changcheng’s spin-off brand, Wey, lacked that model’s off-road ability but made up for it with sporty styling, with long bonnet and rising window line. On shortened Haval H6 (2017–) platform. Big rear quarters and small rear window made reversing tough. Interior featured 12·3-inch digital instrument display. Despite the brand’s premium ambitions, pricing in China was similar to Haval’s.

Manufacturing location: China

Marque: Wey
