2010 Volvo V60.jpg

Volvo V60 (Y20). 2010 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door estate. F/F, F/A, 1999 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1984, 2400 cm³ diesel (I5 DOHC), 2953 cm³ (I6 DOHC). Sexy estate version of sporty S60, launched at 2010 Paris Salon. Same comments for S60 apply here, including Volvo’s emphasis on comfort and its first-of-a-kind pedestrian avoidance feature, which can bring the car to a stop at slow speeds. No direct predecessor: Volvo intended the V60 to be a lifestyle estate, while V50 and V70 were more traditional load-luggers, though eventually it supplanted the former.
