Volkswagen Up. 2011 to date (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door saloon. F/F, 998 cm³ (I3 DOHC). City car from Volkswagen, with clever packaging and good ride, though at the expense of handling. Reasonably good materials inside despite entry-level price; new three-cylinder lacks balancer shafts but harshness largely removed. Five-door shown at IAA in Frankfurt in September 2011.
