Teramont in China, but Atlas in the US, after the original name bombed when dealers were surveyed. Designed chiefly for the US market, with similar exterior dimensions to the Ford Explorer (U502) but a longer wheelbase, on a stretched MQB platform. Claimed to have the largest interior in its class. Practical, large interior. Slotting between Tiguan and Touareg. Turbocharged 2·5 V6 for Chinese market in 2017; launching there with the two-litre only.
