Designed to be cheaper to build than predecessor. American models are simpler, making do without multi-link rear suspension, which hurt handling, and a base 2·0 OHC engine and cheaper interior materials. European models retain the more complex suspension. Overall, a decent ride, quiet, comfortable and economical, though not as rewarding a drive as before.
