Platform related to Fox and Polo, so not the most modern, and marginally larger than Fox. Some PQ25 elements to platform. Sold to a price in Brazil; VW may have greater export plans for the model—bland styling may lend itself to rebadging. No Parati wagon spin-off, though Volkswagen launched a Voyage three-box sedan in 2009.
