2013 Volkswagen Gol Trend Bluemotion.jpg

Volkswagen Gol (Novo Gol/PQ24). 2008 to date (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 999, 1596, 1781 cm³ (I4 OHC). All-new, third-generation Gol, with inoffensive, up-to-date styling. Platform related to Fox and Polo, so not the most modern, and marginally larger than Fox. Some PQ25 elements to platform. Sold to a price in Brazil. No Parati wagon spin-off, though Volkswagen launched a Voyage three-box sedan. Facelift in 2012 to bring Gol in line with VW corporate look (officially the Novo Gol, not the G6), with the three-door body returning. Further facelift in 2016 saw the introduction of a three-cylinder, 12-valve, 1·0-litre unit.

Manufacturing location: São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Brazil

Marque: Volkswagen | Model: Volkswagen Gol | Predecessor: Volkswagen Gol G4
