2010 Volkswagen Gol Titan.jpg

Volkswagen Gol (G4). 2005–13 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 999, 1596, 1781 cm³ petrol, 1896 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1596 cm³ (I4 OHV). Not really a new generation of market-leader Gol, but another facelift of the AB9. After release of G5 in 2008, G4 tag officially used in sales’ literature. Ran concurrently with G5 as budget model, with raised-suspension (but still two-wheel-drive) Gol Titan added to range. Three-door models altered for 2010 model year to share front doors with five-door model; previously they had unique doors. Known for being a rugged, basic car; dated by this point. Quick, but not the most refined. Five-door only by 2013, its final year.

Manufacturing locations: São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil; Pacheco, Argentina

Marque: Volkswagen | Model: Volkswagen Gol | Predecessor: Volkswagen Gol G3 | Successors: Volkswagen Gol G5, Volkswagen Up
