Venucia (啟辰/启辰) T60. 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Small 4·4 m-long crossover on the Renault–Nissan CMF-B platform, which struggled to get noticed in a crowded market, despite its tough, distinctive styling. Boxy shape aided rear headroom, while 2,640 mm wheelbase helped with legroom. Ten-inch screen in centre console for high-line models (lesser ones, including the mid-level ones, made do with eight), particularly good for sat-nav information but less so for air conditioning and multimedia, with their controls on-screen. Smooth CVT gearbox available, and reasonable power from 1·6 (126 PS), though poor torque delivery, needing the engine to be worked hard for overtaking. Average ride and comfort—really a city car and not one suited for highways.
