Revision as of 02:09, 12 March 2008Vauxhall Victor (FE). 1972–6 (prod. 44,078 not incl. VX4/90). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 1759, 2279 cm³ (4 cyl. OHC). Generally believed to be last all-British Vauxhall before Opel took charge of engineering for both brands, though vehicle actually has commonalities with Opel Rekord D. Mid-Atlantic styling not very graceful and considered bland, as buyers went to Ford Cortina and Consul instead. Rust an issue for collectors. Renamed VX for 1976.
