VAZ 2105 (ВАЗ-2105)/Lada 2105. 1979–2010 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/R, 1197, 1294, 1451, 1568, 1690 cm³ (I4 OHC). Development of original Zhiguli, with squared-off nose and other revisions. Small-scale production initially, before full production from 1980. Usually exported with Lada name, and known as Lada Nova and Lada Riva in some countries, but formally Lada 2105 in Russia from 2005. Never that modern by international standards, and sold on price in export markets. Minor changes through its lifetime, including Euro-3 emissions’ standard in the 21st century, but long past its sell-by date, eventually selling as a bargain model even in its native country.
