VAZ 2104 (ВАЗ-2104)/Lada 2104. 1984–2012 (prod. n/a). 5-door estate. F/R, 1197, 1294, 1451, 1568, 1690 cm³ petrol, 1524 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). VAZ facelifts the Zhiguli estate, derived from Fiat 124 (1966–75). Much the same formula as 2105 saloon, but with folding rear seat. Diesel from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s, though most common 2104s are the 1·3 and 1·5 petrol models. Finally killed off in 2012.
