Triumph Toledo. 1970–6 (prod. 119,182: 113,294 for 1300, 5,888 for 1500). 2- and 4-door saloon. F/R, 1296, 1493 cm³ (I4 OHV). Cheaper, rear-wheel-drive replacement for Triumph 1300, using similar bodyshell but new nose. Well made and nice handling small car with wooden dashboard; 1500 model for export only. Two-door deleted 1975. Absorbed into Dolomite range in 1976. CKD kits in New Zealand still being built afterward with improvements from Dolomite range, including side rubbing strips.
