Triumph 2000 Mk II/Triumph 2500 Mk II/Triumph Chicane (Innsbruck). 1969–77 (prod. 104,580 for 2000, 49,472 for 2500PI, 32,492 for 2500TC). 4-door saloon, 5-door estate. F/R, 1998, 2498 cm³ (I6 OHV). Revamped version of original 2000 and 2·5, with Stag-style front and rear ends, modernizing the car for the 1970s. Excellent executive saloon and estate range, though fuel-injected 2500PI less than reliable. South African Chicane dated from 1972, with Stromberg carburettors from 2500TC and automatic transmission from 2000. Last big Triumph saloon and estate.
