Toyota Yaris (AC100). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1197, 1329, 1496 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Yaris for southeast Asia gets a fastback, six-light body, exported to some markets as Vios. Larger in all outward dimensions than predecessor, with wheelbase at 2,620 mm (beating the Honda City by 20 mm). Developed by Daihatsu on a Daihatsu platform (DNGA) and related to the Xenia, the Yaris has some mod cons (wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry, front video recording, 64-colour ambient lighting, decent active and passive safety) but omits a spare tyre and folding rear seats. Smaller boot. More refined than predecessor.

Manufacturing location: Chachoengsao, Thailand

Marque: Toyota | Model: Toyota Yaris | Predecessor: Toyota Yaris (2017–)

q.v. Toyota Yaris Cross (AC200)
