Toyota Progrès (G10). 1998–2007 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, F/A, 2491, 2997 cm³ (I6 DOHC). Challenger to Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse and BMW 3er-Reihe inside Japan, considered a shrunk-down version of Toyota Celsior. Very high-quality model line, made to the same standards as larger Crown. Four-wheel-drive from 1999, mid-term changes 2001, when sister car Brevis introduced. Platform used for limited-edition, retro-styled Toyota Origin.
