Far more popular than its predecessor and boosted by Hollywood celebrities’ endorsements; officially sold in more countries worldwide and even adopted as taxicabs in many. Unconventional one-box styling (C_d of 0,26) marked it out more than its chief rival, the Honda Civic IMA Hybrid, as a “personal statement” vehicle.
