Toyota Crown (RS110/GS110/MS110/LS110). 1979–83 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door hardtop sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 1994 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1988, 2759 cm³ petrol, 1988 cm³ LPG, 2188, 2446 cm³ diesel (I6 OHC), 2759 cm³ (I6 DOHC). Smoother, cleaner styling for Crown as the model line ended the 1970s. Two widths, with lower-end models within the class 5 size (1,690 mm) and 2800 going slightly beyond (1,715 mm), along with a greater length (4,860 mm versus 4,690 mm). More technology inside, with trip computer and power adjustment for the driver’s seat. Turbo from 1980, along with front-and-rear independent temperature adjustment, and fully automatic air conditioning. Mid-term changes in 1981, and 2·8 DOHC added; 2·4 turbodiesel from 1982.
