1996 Toyota Chaser 2·4 XL Diesel Turbo.jpg

Toyota Chaser (X100). 1996–2001 (prod. 76,148 sold in Japan). 4-door hardtop sedan. F/F, F/A, 1838 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 1988, 2492, 2997 cm³ (I6 DOHC), 2446 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Marketed with great white shark imagery. Turned out to be the last Chaser, still on sale after the Toyota Mark II (X110) was launched. Some basic models, as well as Tourer and sporting ones, including a TRD Sports model with aero kit. Mid-term revisions in 1998 with four round taillights the most noticeable outward change. Production ceased June 2001.

Manufacturing location: Miyawaka, Fukuoka, Japan

Marque: Toyota | Model: Toyota Chaser | Predecessor: Toyota Chaser (X90) | Successor: Toyota Verossa
