Toyota Celsior (F20/XF20/UCF20). 1994–2000 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 3968 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Blink-and-you’ll-miss-it change for second-generation Celsior. Longer wheelbase (an extra 36 mm) though same overall length. Same equipment levels as before (A, B and C) with GPS and reclining rear seats options in Japan. Improved V8 (extra 5 PS) and braking. Mid-term changes in 1997, with a more noticeable facelift; GPS offered on US export models, five-speed automatic transmission now offered, and additional safety equipment. Tenth anniversary model in 1999. Exported as Lexus LS 400. Sold again on the virtues of reliability and refinement.
