Toyota Celica (トヨタ セリカ) (AT160/ST160). 2- and 3-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/F, F/A, 1587, 1832, 1995 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1587, 1838, 1998 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Celica goes front-drive, on to Corona FF platform, and gains a very contemporary style in the process. Attractive glasshouse for coupés, with blacked-out B and C pillars. Related to Toyota Corona (T160) coupé, as well as Toyota Carina ED (T160) hardtop. Turbocharged GT-Four from 1986, with full-time four-wheel drive and electronically controlled central locking differential. Mid-term changes in 1987, with convertible added that year. DOHC for all models on the home market from 1988. Supra now a distinct line on a separate platform.
