No more bench seat this time, and an upgrade to a larger, smoother 3·5 V6 shared with Camry. Ian Cartabiano-styled body, now exceeding 5 m in length, had Cd of 0,29. Comfortable ride, as before, with smart cabin, and very refined. Front strut suspension with L-shaped lower arms, and multi-link–struts at rear. More connectivity with DVD-based sat-nav. Minor facelift for 2008 model year, then a more substantial one for 2011 with revised audio system. Part of the mass recall in 2009–10 after there were reports of braking problems, and 2011 and 2012 models had a brake override system.
