2007 Toyota Auris.jpg

Toyota Auris (E150). 2006–12 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1329, 1398, 1496, 1598, 1798 cm³ petrol, 1364, 1998, 2231 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Corolla Runx replacement, sold in some countries (Australia, New Zealand) with Corolla name. Breaking the 1,700 mm-width rule in Japan, the 1,760 mm-wide Auris is aimed at premium hatchbacks such as the Volkswagen Golf. Refined but still dull. Fussy styling, as expected from Japanese firm, but detailing is nice for those who appreciate east Asian design. Mid-term facelift 2010; lighter 1329 cm³ engine introduced later that year, with lower carbon dioxide emissions, but power and economy improvements.

Manufacturing locations: Iwate, Japan; Burnaston, England; Sakarya, Turkey

Marque: Toyota | Model: Toyota Auris | Predecessor: Toyota Corolla (E120) | Successor: Toyota Auris (E180)

q.v. Toyota Blade, Toyota Corolla (E140), Toyota Corolla (E150)
