Tianjin–FAW Xiali N7 (天津一汽 夏利 N7). 2013 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, 1339 cm³ (I4 DOHC). N7 effectively took over the market segment from Tianjin’s licensed version of the Toyota Vitz (P10), but had faux off-roader touches. Positioned slightly below Tianjin Weizhi V2 hatchback and targeted first-time car buyers. Transformers-like geometric shapes marked out interior, but built to a price. ABS, airbags, and collapsible steering column standard, considered good for the price in China. Carryover engine, already proven in N5; brakes left something to be desired.

Manufacturing location: Nankai, Tianjin, China

Marque: Tianjin | Model: Tianjin Xiali
