Tianjin–FAW Weizhi V2/FAW Vizi V2 (天津一汽 威志 V2) (CA7137). 2010–13. 5-door sedan. F/F, 1339 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Tianjin gives a shot at the supermini market, accompanied by a personalization programme with numerous options à la Mini and Fiat 500. First previewed in 2008 as the Vita M2, in production two years later. Basic interior, with steering wheel feeling unsubstantial, and steering itself somewhat vague, with slightly unrefined Tianjin-designed 1·3 engine developed in-house by FAW Technical Centre, shared with Tianjin Xiali N5. Good low-end torque. Front and rear independent suspension, a surprise for this sector in China. Faux off-roader, V2 Cross, from 2012. Aimed more at urban markets, which previous Tianjin small cars failed to tackle.
