Compact crossover, rivalling the likes of the Chang’an CS35, JAC Ruifeng S3 and Zhonghua V3. Resembled a tall hatchback more, and not as spacious as rivals. Good interior materials, sourced from the same supplier as Toyota; the larger engine itself sourced from Toyota. Firm suspension, affecting ride comfort for Chinese buyers. The smaller engine considered weak, especially compared with the more powerful CS35; power output also down compared with S3, which was of a very similar size. Scored five stars in C-NCAP tests.
