Tata Indigo CS/Tata Indigo e-CS. 2008 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1193 cm³ petrol, 1193 cm³ petrol–CNG, 1405 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1396 cm³ petrol, 1405 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Indigo with a cut-back boot, putting the car’s total length at under 4 m and making it eligible for excise cut announced in India. Reduced weight helped with handling. DOHC diesel added 2009, with improved performance and omission of turbo lag. CS renamed e-CS 2010, with new common-rail 1396 cm³ unit added. Emax denoted petrol–CNG dual-fuel model.
