Suzuki Wagon R (MC21S/MC11S/MC22S/MC12S). 1998–2003 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 657 cm³ (I3 OHC), 658 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Simpler, more rounded appearance for second-generation Wagon R, but retaining the same idea, including an asymmetric model (which ran to April 2000). Millionth Wagon R built early in this model’s life cycle. Wheelchair-compatible model from March 1999, CNG model in June. DOHC engine from October 1999, eventually replacing SOHC units. Eightieth anniversary special edition in 2000.
