Suzuki Wagon R (CT21S/CV51S/CT51S/CV51S). 1993–8 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 657 cm³ (I3 OHC), 658 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Suzuki makes a tall, boxy sedan from the Suzuki Cervo Mode platform, with the same wheelbase and suspension. Asymmetric design, with one door on driver’s side and two on passengers’. OHC engine initially; turbo from 1995. Mid-term changes 1995 with shock absorber and rear suspension revisions, as well as cosmetically. Symmetrical five-door from April 1995. New K6A all-aluminium DOHC triple from 1997, with more changes, notably to interior. Sporting models from 1998, and actor Leonardo di Caprio hired as spokesman later that year. Spawned Suzuki Wagon R Wide, a wider version of this model, in 1997.
